Mixed Media is so fun and the options of creating are ENDLESS!
Here’s another way to add depth to a painting and make it a little more “Mixed Media”! I like to use Aleene’s Original Tacky Glue. You can buy this at Wal-mart and it’s really fun to use.
Just take the bottle and make sure it’s turned all the way upside down. Pretend you are waiting for the ketchup to all fall to the lid. After you know your glue is at the top you will want to use a steady squeeze so you get the right amount out each time.
I use this to draw flowers and tons of details on the painting I’m working on. Aleene’s glue does take over night to dry so make sure when you are planning an art project you account for that. Once it’s dry you can paint right on top of it!
