Let’s talk about all the essential supplies you need to pack for a successful paint party.  From easels to door prizes, I’ll tell you everything you should bring with you and how I pack all the paint party things! Aside from the essentials there are some really cool things you can bring and even wear to your paint party!

Getting ready for a paint party can be stressful, you don’t want to forget anything! There are of course the essential supplies, like paint and brushes but there are also the fun things, like door prizes and decorations. Here are all the essential supplies you’ll want to bring with you.

Lighting is an Essential

Anytime you are teaching a paint party make sure there is good lighting!  I once painted a party at a location where there wasn’t any night time lighting.  So, as the sun went down, we were painting with flashlights and cell phones.  I felt awful, I even offered them a free paint party!  If there is not adequate lighting bring some extra, ring lights are perfect to add additional lighting.

Paint Party Essential Supplies

You of course want to make sure you have everything your painters will need to paint. You may think this is a long list but it really isn’t.  Here are the list of essentials so your painters can create:

• Paper Plates
• Paper Towels
• Baby Wipes
• Tablecloths
• Paint Brushes
• Paint
• Aprons
• Easels
• Pre-Traced Canvases
• Painting Example

Now, remember is you are just starting out with your Paint Party Business you may not have a stock of easels and that’s o.k.!  A lot of guests will not use them, but they are good to have on hand as a just in case.  I get my tablecloths at the dollar store, there is no need to spend a bunch of money these.  I’ve splurged before, but only when I am live-streaming a paint party!

The Fun Essential Supplies and Extras

I know for this specific party that one of my guests is celebrating her 60^th birthday so I decided to bring a fun birthday hat for her!  And, since we are painting a bunny I brough bunny ears for the all of the guests to wear, how much fun is that? Don’t forget your door prizes, I usually like to bring 2 door prizes for every 10 guests in attendance. They don’t have to be anything big, they can just be something simple like a T-Shirt or lip scrub and bath bomb.

There were a few extras I brought to this paint party.  Because this party was livestreamed I brought some festive decorations for the table and media release forms for the guests to sign.

How to Pack all The Essentials

I know some of you use Totes, I’ve used totes, bins, little bags, big bags.  Paint in ketchup and mustard bottles, in the big containers, you name it I’ve done it. These .99 cent bags from Marshalls are perfect. Things don’t get to heavy and are easier to carry.
