I’m so excited! We just had our 5-year anniversary of Paint Party Headquarters!!! Paint Parties have changed my life! Not just in a financial sense, but also in my confidence and so many other things. I found freedom through teaching paint parties.
Finding Freedom Through Paint Parties
I remember when I was the worst at driving in traffic in bigger cities, just being terrified. Like I would take every side street possible and did not want to drive on freeways.
Years ago, I had a ton of parties within a two-week time frame. I was driving home from one of the parties that was about 2 hours from home. I had to drive through downtown Fort Worth on the way home. So, here I am, it’s 11:30 at night and I’m driving home. Of course, there wasn’t any traffic at that time but I remembered how scared I was to even drive on a freeway. I’m mentally counting all the money I had made in that 2 weeks. It was over $12,000!!!
I was a teacher at the time and not making very much money. I realized I had the power to change my financial future, which is insane! I was looking at the Fort Worth lights and just thinking “This is so good. Thank you so much God!”. It was the feeling of freedom.
Make a Profit Every Party
Yes, teaching paint parties gave me financial freedom and confidence and I can teach you how to teach paint parties! I like to teach you how to make a profit every paint party. A tip to make a profit a party; book your party before you go buy everything. I know that sounds counterintuitive, but you don’t have to have everything ready before you get painters. Have a practice party at home with some friends or maybe at a restaurant with just a few people. This is just to get out there!
This will get you out of your own way and give you the confidence you need. Have you ever gotten a certificate or degree? Once you’ve finished the pursuit of getting it then you have to take action. Then it’s scary.
Take Action First
For example, I really want to get my health back up. I had a hysterectomy a few months ago and they also removed my appendix. I really wanted to start walking again and get healthy. You know, just feel better. So, here’s what I did. My daughter joined a gym, so I decided to join with her. The only time I went was the day I signed up.
But you know what it has done for me? Now I’m walking every single day, at least a mile. Maybe that membership is making me take action, even though it’s not at the gym?
I share this because I think, sometimes, when it’s finally time to do something, we start to scare ourselves or get nervous. If you just take action before you are terrified, before you talk yourself out of it, with just a practice party or guinea pig party, can take action before you get scared or nervous. You can trick your brain by doing this!
Even if you are just starting your paint parties now, you are going to show everyone that you are going to be the paint party person for Fall! Remember, during the Fall you can make as much money as you want. You can make a teacher’s salary teaching paint parties during Fall!!!
