Y’all I am freaking out. I am going to paint Starry Night on a dress! This beautiful blue dress. The problem? I can’t take a baby wipe and wipe off my mistakes. I really hope it will be cool. So, I am excited and freaking out all at the same time!! I really like this dress and don’t want to mess it up.
This dress may or may not have something to do with Paint Party Business Live. But before we get to that let’s talk a little bit more about this dress. I mean, I’ve painted on jackets and jeans and even furniture but never a dress. So, how bad can it be?
Paint Starry Night on a Dress
My plan is to paint Starry Night going down the dress, starting right above my knee and have it wrap around the bottom of the dress. First, I marked the placement with some fabric paint. Then laid it down on my table and placed a canvas and a board inside the skirt so the paint doesn’t bleed on to the rest of the dress.
I used white fabric paint to do some placement of the painting on the dress. Then I started adding color to my Starry Night dress painting. I did not finish the dress but you can watch me paint and freak out about painting it in the video below.

Paint Party Business Live is a 2 ½ day event for those that want to learn all things Paint Party Business. This year’s event is September 7, 8, and 9. We haven’t announced the location yet but you’ll find out soon!
