The sunflower porch learners are so cheerful and welcoming, with painted blooms that will brighten everyone’s day!
This project has example designs with both classic sunflowers and pink rose buds; feel free to combine them for a whole new design.
And if you’re worried about the lettering, never fear!
Some handy letter stencils from Essential Stencils will guide your way. Psst – don’t forget to use code TEXASHEIDI for a sweet discount!
3. Fun Flamingo Sign
This summer porch leaner is bold and graphic, with big lettering and an eye-catching color palette. Hot pink and leaf green practically jump off the plain black base!

4. Hello Pumpkin Porch Sign
Fall decor doesn’t need to be all reds and oranges. In fact, a monochrome black and white porch leaner can look perfectly seasonal with the right design!
Enter – my “Hello Pumpkin” porch sign.
This easy project uses bold white lettering and a gorgeous floral pumpkin decal from Essential Stencils.
It’s simple, chic, and will look great on your front porch!
5. Cute Snowman Porch Leaner
When winter comes calling, so does the snowy decor! Yes, even here in Texas. 😉
This wintery porch leaner features a friendly snowman in a cheery snowscape. Best of all, this design can be done totally free-handed, no matter your skill level.
6. Summer Porch Decor
Summon all the tropical beach feels with this easy summer porch leaner.
This color combination of tangerine orange and hot pink reminds me of bright summer days. And the easy palm tree design is a great way to practice your free-hand painting skills!
7. Christmas Snowflake Sign
If rustic signs are more your thing, you’ll appreciate this farmhouse-style snowflake leaner.
This design features a classic red and gold color combination and stenciled snowflakes for extra wintery beauty.
Then, the rest of the natural wood sign is left to shine for an old-timey appeal.
8. Summertime Porch Leaner
Ah, sweet summertime.
This watermelon-themed leaner has all the sweetest elements of the season, from pink sunflower stencils to a sparkly watermelon decal.
Customize this design with the summer fruit of your choosing. Peach or strawberry would also be super cute.
9. Sunflower Porch Sign
Sunflowers are one of those emblematic fall symbols – their gorgeous yellow petals totally suit the classic fall colors.
This porch features bold sunflowers, complementary blue polka dots, and brown stenciled lettering from Essential Stencils.
10. Blacklight Porch Sign
What’s better than a fall porch leaner? A fall porch leaner that literally GLOWS.
This Halloween design uses black light paint for a ghoulish glow – perfect for spooky season!
The “Trick or Treat” lettering is the perfect welcome to all the incoming trick-or-treaters.
Plus, this sign looks great in the daylight too! The bold black lettering against the fun purple backdrop really pops.
11. Fall Sunflower Leaner
Happy fall y’all! This autumn porch leaner adds a country twist to a classic fall design.

13. Vintage Santa Leaner
This vintage Santa porch leaner is nostalgic and beautiful.
I love the light blue backdrop because it’s a fun change from traditional red and green Christmas color schemes. The sweet gold star adds the perfect finishing touch!
14. Candy Corn Porch Leaner
For this Halloween design, I was inspired by the best part of the holiday – the candy!
I used a candy corn background, painting simple stripes for a bright, colorful display.
Add bold Halloween lettering and black bats from Essential Stencils, and you’re good to go!
15. Spring Bunny Leaner
This Spring bunny porch leaner may look a little bit intimidating to start. But I promise, it’s surprisingly easy to replicate.

How much would you charge for a class
Hi Liz!
I recommend doing a class first at home with just a few family members for free. Then, you can do a paint party and charge $35 a person. Check this free training out. https://www.paintpartychallenge.com/challenge

I bought the snowman class from you but have been so sick I haven’t been able to do it . I’m feeling better but I have to go get some paints and brushes….. and then and then….. I need to get the nerve to just do it and quit being afraid of failure. I’m on a very tight budget so have to get supplies once a month and a little at a time. I need lots of reassurance and positivity I can get. Wish me LOTS OF LUCK!!!!!
Hey Carol!! So happy you are feeling better!!! The Snowman is such a fun painting, YOU GOT THIS!!!
