Shopping for Art Supplies to Use for Fall Ball 2021
Pixie and I recently went shopping for art supplies to stock up for the fall ball with our surprise guest! We had a ton of fun and picked up some pretty amazing painting supplies to get started with.
If you want to join us on that little adventure and see firsthand what we picked up.
It will help you to figure out exactly what you need if you are a beginner and are just starting to collect painting supplies!
Grab Your Paints
The first stop we made when shopping for the fall ball 2021 was to grab paint. Because you can’t have a painting party without plenty of paint!
We grabbed all of the basic colors like titanium white as well as some more festive colors like browns, yellows, and oranges.
Basically, any fall colors that you like, you should grab because you might need them! Plus, it doesn’t hurt to stock up on some beautiful paints!!
Don’t worry too much about getting specific brands. They are all pretty much the same shade either way.
Get Extra Brushes
We also made a quick stop in the brush aisle to pick up some extra paintbrushes. I especially wanted to get a few larger brushes since we are going to be painting canvases.
It is much easier to paint large paintings with larger brushes as you can cover so much more space. It also makes colors look more evenly distributed.
Grab Something to Paint on
I really wanted to make sure that Pixie had enough canvas to paint on during the fall ball. We have a lot of paintings planned, and I wanted her to be prepared!
She ended up grabbing a five-pack of canvases so that she would have more to spare. This is a great idea if you want to paint a lot but are on a budget. Because most packs of canvases are going to be significantly cheaper than singles!
Get Miscellaneous Supplies
After we had grabbed all of the painting necessities we made a pit stop at the candy aisle! Because you have to have fall candy if you are going to have a fall painting ball!! 😉
Candy corn is more festive, but I don’t like candy corn very much, so I grabbed some other options. Grab whatever you like the most to enjoy while painting with us at the fall ball!
Don’t forget to grab a drink as well whether it be alcoholic, tea, coffee, cider, or anything else that gets you in the mood to paint!
