It’s still so hard to believe that a little more than 10 years ago, I was at my lowest point. My husband had lost his job, and there we were with a new baby and a bunch of maxed out credit cards. I never thought I would declare bankruptcy, but there I was, not even 30 yet, doing just that. I’ll never forget the guilt, shame, hopelessness, and embarrassment I felt.
The reason I’m telling you all of this is to spread hope to anyone who may be in a similar situation now. Trust me when I say you will be okay! I strongly believe that God will provide when you need Him the most. How do I know? It happened to me.

I don’t know it at the time, but at my lowest moment, I was using art to heal. I started painting to keep my mind off of my money problems. And wouldn’t you know it, it was like a miracle happened. It was my passion – my art – that helped lift me up and catapult me into a whole new world I didn’t know was possible. God had a plan for me and my family that totally changed our situation and in the end, we were ok. You will be okay, too! You are worthy. Please believe me when I say that.
