If you’ve been following along, you probably already know—our family has some big changes ahead and is packing up and heading out of Granbury after 11 wonderful years. And the number one question I keep getting is… “Where are you moving to?!”
Drumroll, please… We put in an offer on a small farm in Franklin, Tennessee! Yep, my wild dream of starting a lavender farm (plus some animals, of course) is finally happening. Don’t worry—I’ll still be running my paint party business and my online business—just from a different zip code.

Why the Change?
That’s the second biggest question: “Why?”
Honestly, Bobby and I have always had an adventurous spirit. After 27 years of marriage and many different homes, we finally settled in Granbury when Pixie was in 3rd grade. Fast forward to today—she’s graduated high school and is off to Colorado to pursue art (I’m beyond proud!).
With Pixie starting her new adventure, Bobby and I are ready for ours. It’s a little scary, a little exciting, but mostly just another chapter in our big adventure book.

Will We Still Be Around?
YES! You’ll still see us in Texas from time to time. My in-laws (Cherie and Eddie—you’ve heard me talk about them often!) are still here, and my dad is, too. So Texas will always be in our hearts, and we’ll definitely be back for visits.

What About Texas Art and Soul?
It’s staying! I LOVE my business name, and it’s not going anywhere. You’ll still be able to find me online, at paint parties, and on social media under Texas Art and Soul—just with a little Tennessee flair.

Thank You, Granbury!
Granbury has been so good to us. The love, support, and friendships we’ve made here are priceless, and I’m beyond grateful. This small town has been our home for over a decade, and it will always hold a special place in my heart.

Our Final Paint Party in Granbury
We just had our last paint party this week in Granbury. It was one of the calmest paint parties I’ve ever hosted—a mix of familiar faces and new friends, all singing their hearts out to George Strait. As I reminisced about the last several years here, it hit me—life is full of changes and chapters, and this is just our next one.

A Little Favor?
If you could, please pray for our family during this transition. Between becoming empty nesters and Pixie moving to a new state, we could use all the love and prayers.
