Join Pixie and I as we make these easy and fun paper gift tags with stencils. I just got a watercolor pan set from Michaels (always use a coupon) and used paper from a 140lb watercolor paper pad. But you can use whatever you have on hand. Use your favorite colors and paint it solid or create an ombre background. Once the paint dries you can, pick your favorite stencil and line it up over your paper tag. I love the stencils and daubers from Essential Stencil (Coupon Code TEXASHEIDI)! I was nervous to try something new, but hey, its okay to make a mistake. I used my dauber and a little bit of mod podge to stencil a deer head on my tag. Then use my newest obsession of chunky glitter and dumb some over the stencil. The hardest part was letting it dry for a few minutes. As I was waiting, I made a “Joy” paper tag with some white acrylic paint, my dauber and a cute stencil that has a snowflake for the “O” in Joy. Once my glitter deer head had dried for a few minutes I was so scared to pull it up. But it was so pretty! I was so happy it worked out and didn’t turn into a disaster.
