Two years ago, something super fun kicked off at Paint Party Business Live, and it’s quickly become one of the most talked-about highlights of the event: Painted Prom! One of our PPHQ Team members threw out the idea, and as soon as I heard it, I knew we just had to make it happen. I’m all about big, crazy, over-the-top ideas—but this one? This one really took the cake.

Britney, Prom Queens, and Outrageous Dresses: The Birth of a Creative Tradition!

The first-ever Painted Prom was nothing short of epic. I went all out and had a Britney Spears tribute performer there (because, duh, Britney!) and, of course, we crowned Painted Prom Queens. Let me just tell you—the costumes and painted prom dresses were out of this world! People really brought their A-game, and the creativity was insane. It was obvious after that night that Painted Prom had to be something we’d keep doing again and again!

When I was announcing Paint Party Business Live 2022, I kept the location a total surprise. When I went live on Facebook to announce it, I was wearing a dress inspired by Van Gogh’s Starry Night to drop the hint (sneaky, right?). The excitement for our first-ever Painted Prom was through the roof, and after that first one, the bar was set real high.

That Time I Turned Painted Prom into a Full-Blown Circus!

Just when you thought the creativity couldn’t get any crazier, we outdid ourselves in 2023 with a circus-themed Painted Prom. Let’s just say… things got wild in the best way possible! We had an aerialist, stilt walkers, and a circus-themed snack bar. I rode around on a white horse in my big, fluffy pink dress (because why not, right?). We had a black-and-white checkerboard dance floor, a giant circus tent, the most adorable décor ever. Oh, and a TON of enthusiastic people making the night pure magic! The energy was electric!

Get Ready to Set Sail: Painted Prom 2025 Goes Full Pirates and Mermaids!

Now, here we are gearing up for Paint Party Business Live 2025, and things are about to get even more exciting. This time, we’re taking the party to the high seas on the Utopia of the Seas, sailing away to paradise in the Bahamas! Our theme this year is pirates and mermaids, and I’m beyond excited to see what everyone comes up with for their Painted Prom outfits. If the last two years are anything to go by, I know we’re in for some seriously amazing and over-the-top looks.
