This book, Trying, is all about how failure is the beginning of every great thing. Failure can offer us so many invaluable lessons that we can’t get in any other way.
Here’s one of my favorite quotes from the entire book: “The best way to give your talents an opportunity is to try…if you do nothing it feels safe, but everything stays the same. If you do nothing there is less to experience, less to love, and less to learn.”

Failure is a Part of the Process
Wasn’t that good, y’all? We have this one life and we can try and try again! In life there are so many things we do and we fail over and over again. It happens to me, and I’m sure it happens to you too. It doesn’t feel great in the moment but if we can learn to see it as part of a bigger journey and bigger plan, we can enjoy the process instead of be afraid!
Consistency is a huge part of growing in life. It can be so easy to try once or twice then throw our hands up and walk away. But, we’ve got to keep going! Don’t give up.
There is something I’ve been working on for over a year and I still can’t get it right! I throw my hands up every time, but I keep going (even if it’s frustrating to keep failing and getting it wrong). We’ve just got to take a step back, reapproach it and then try again (and again, and again!). I’m right in the thick of it with you guys.
This is especially true over the past couple of years – we’ve all had our world rocked and have had to deal with some pretty major life changes with everything going on. We’ve had to shift and adapt, and it hasn’t been easy…but here we are. Pat yourself on the back!
